HOSTING DINNER PARTIES AT YOUR CONDO

There’s nothing quite like showing off your stylish new condo with a dinner party for your closest friends and family. One of the great things about a new condominium is the amenities, which more often than not offers a party room with a catering kitchen for all your entertaining needs, but in-suite entertaining can be even more personal. Here are some great tips to make the most of your space, so you can dazzle your guests with your beautiful new home.

Don’t be Afraid to Rearrange

If your condo doesn’t have a separate dining area, or your eat-in kitchen can’t quite sit all your friends at once, think outside the room! Moving furniture around to make space in your living room for a table just for one night can be well worth it.

Preparation is Everything

To make the most of your space, make sure all the preparation is done well before your guests arrive. This way, you can make sure dishes are cleaned and put away, space is cleared, and you’re not bustling around in the kitchen during the party.

Think of the Temperature

Once everyone is laughing, chatting, eating, and drinking, a small space heats up fast. Make sure you consider the temperature, and consider adjusting the thermostat or opening the windows to make it more comfortable for everyone. Weather permitting, of course!

Functional Over Conventional

A dinner party can look however you want it to. If you don’t have a dining table or folding table, or don’t have matching chairs, don’t worry! Ottomans, stools, and benches function just as well as couches and chairs, and work great to create cozy conversation areas for guests to sit and chat while you eat!
